• IF 2 points are not made per week, student will be expected to complete a reading log which will be nightly signed my parent.

Spelling:

• TTT due Friday

1. no journal until January 14, 2013

Social Studies

• PBS buddies 
• new rules and procedures for new building

Monthly Reading Project:

****Read a biography...make a timeline...create a poem...be that person and tell about the important events in his/her life.  DUE January 31, 2013

Students may use mechanical pencils!!

Week of Dec. 17

Reading:

• biography- We'll read a story about Mozart and complete together a sample for our January book project.
• students have the option of reading a biography over break (if I can find them)
• No AR goal this week...we don't have internet
• We'll share and comment on our poetry notebooks on Monday

No spelling this week.

We'll be making a Christmas tree ornament for our PBS buddy.

Tuesday some of our 'stuff' will head to our new room.  

Thursday the rest of the classroom will be moved to the gym.

Thursday- movie and popcorn in the morning.

Friday...no school

School resumes on January 7 at the regular time.

Special this week

•  Music program Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
• All school library books need to be returned by Dec. 12th 
• Christmas Party-Friday afternoon.  (There will be no gift exchange...we have a mystery valentine exchange for Valentine's Day)  
• Please donate to the food drive sponsored by the high school.  If they receive enough items, we may get out of school a day early!
